Charity Spiel 2014

The Annual Charity Spiel was held on Saturday 11th January, 2014, and the proceeds went to The Bridge Hospice. This is a new facility in Warkworth, and is dedicated to providing end-of-life care in a residential setting. Details about the Hospice are available on their website - http://www.thebridgehospice.com.

Below are some pictures from the event, including a presentation made by the Ontario Trillium Foundation to the Colborne Curling Club. The Club were successful in 2013 in applying for, and receiving, a grant to help cover the costs of upgrades to the club so that it may continue to provide curling facilities to the community. More details about the grant, and how it was used, are on the Trillium Foundation page on this website.
